If you have any questions, please email

  • I can’t afford to pay
  • We understand that for some families, finances are extremely tight.  We don’t want to prevent anyone from coming, if the only obstacle is financial.  Please contact us ASAP (as slots are filling up) and we can discuss options further.

  • Who should attend?
  • All are welcome to attend, but this conference is especially oriented toward families who have not gone through other family trainings with the Pryors or Mowrys before. If you’re a little farther down the ReFamily path, then some of the conferences later in the year may be more relevant for you.

  • So how did you come up with the $180 amount?
  • We knew that charging anything might come as a surprise to some as we’ve typically done no cost trainings in the past. The main reason for the expense is that we want to create a high quality experience. In addition, since Paths of Return is really in a “start-up” phase, we don’t have a sophisticated fundraising support structure.  Since we are planning on hosting 3-4 conferences like this in 2016, we want to devote more time and attention to the teaching, materials and experience. We ask for your grace (and help!) in bearing with us while we try to figure out how to adequately fund this in the best way.

  • What other conferences are in the works?
  • Our hope is that the ReFamily Conference is part 1 of a 3 part series. While we don’t have dates nailed down for future events our hope is to follow up the ReFamily Conference with
  • Part 2 – The Family Team Training: Equipping parents to win the hearts of their kids and build their family into a missional team.
  • Part 3 – The HouseCraft Workshop: Practical tools to transform families into multi-generational households that partner with the Church to transform the city.

  • What if I can’t make Part 1, will I miss out on all of them?
  • No, we are planning on doing Part 1 multiple times, so there will be more opportunities to attend in the future. We strongly suggest that you get your name on the waiting list for the next one. Dates TBD.

  • What is “Paths of Return”?
  • The vision of Paths of Return is to help believers rediscover forgotten, biblical elements of our Christian faith starting with Jesus-followers in and around Cincinnati.  Paths of Return is a 501c3 organization started by Jeremy Pryor and Stephen Mowry, who have been pursuing together (along with their families) “paths of return” for the last 16 years.  The official board is currently made up of Jeremy, Stephen and Paul Owens.  Randy McDonnold is our bookkeeper.  We are not officially connected to any particular local church but we do often cooperate closely with Crossroads.
